About

I like finding out how things work, and then making them work a little better. That curiosity is the same at the plant and at my desk at home; only the materials change.

By training and by trade I'm a mechanical engineer. I work at a global company, on the kind of problems where a drawing, a tolerance and a deadline all have to agree with each other.

Somewhere along the way I started writing software to take busywork off my own plate, then off friends' plates. Native Mac apps, n8n automations, small internal tools, and lately systems that lean on AI to turn raw data into something a person can actually read.

The short version

  1. Mechanical engineering

Studied it, practiced it. Learned to respect constraints.

  2. COO at Helo.land

A detour into entrepreneurship: operations, people, and the daily work of keeping a young company moving.

  3. Mechanical engineer at a global company

Back to engineering, with a habit of building tools wherever work gets repetitive.

  4. Open source, AI and automation

The parallel track. Evenings and weekends, published when it's useful to others.

Off the clock

I ride a road bike. Long rides are where most of my thinking happens, and they're also why I built a system that pulls my rides from Strava and turns them into readable reports. The bike came first; the software followed.
